Course
Guidance and Navigational Control M.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Guidance & Navigational Control) is a two-year post-graduate-level engineering program at APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University Thiruvananthapuram. The candidate must be B.Tech or BE (Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering) graduate from a recognized institute. The study focuses on scientific engineering principles to design and build structures, machines, and other infrastructure to efficiently guide, navigate, and control vehicles, especially space vehicles. APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University curriculum includes classroom training & practical in Advanced Mathematics & Optimisation Techniques, Dynamics of Linear Systems, Digital Control Systems, Principles of Aerospace Navigation, Introduction to Flight, Research Methodology, Design & Simulation Lab, Optimal Control Theory, Nonlinear Control Systems, Advanced Control Lab, Mini Project, Seminar, Project. Some of the electives are Guidance and Control of Missiles, Process Control & Industrial Automation, Adaptive Control, New and Renewable Sources of Energy, Sliding Mode Control, Stochastic Control, Industrial Data Networks, Sustainable and Translational Engineering, Robotics and Control, Flight Dynamics and Control, Soft Computing Techniques, Smart Grid Technologies and Applications, Helicopter Dynamics, Robust Control, Advanced Instrumentation, System Identification & Parameter Estimation, Guidance and Control Space Vehicles and Satellites, Estimation Theory, Multivariable Control Theory, Hybrid Electric Vehicle. The specialized engineers can work in the aviation & aerospace industry, central organizations like ISRO, DRDO, defence services, guidance & navigation control equipment manufacturing companies as Guidance and Navigational Control Engineer, Navigational Control Engineer, Guidance and Navigational Control Analyst, Process Design Engineer, Production Engineer, Test Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Consultant, Researcher and Assistant Professor.
