Course
M.Tech (Master of Technology) in Signal Processing is a postgraduate programme specialising in electronics and communication that occurs for two years offered in APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University Thiruvananthapuram. The programme is full-time and is imparted with four semesters. Candidates can apply for this course after completing their respective undergraduate program, B.E/Btech, in any aspect by accumulating 50-60% of marks in all subjects or an equivalent of CGPA from any recognised university/ institute. By studying this programme, the students can gain advanced knowledge in a technical field like sensor systems, such as imaginary systems, sonar, radar, etc. The course has a broad scope in the industry of medical equipment, communication, radar, and all such fields where signal processing is utilised. APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University includes a syllabus with subjects such as Transformation Techniques, Applied Mathematics, Advanced Digital Communication, Techniques of transformation, DSP Processors, Advanced Signal Processing, Neural networks, Mobile Communication, Speech Processing, Digital Image and Video Processing, Radar Signal Processing, Wireless Communication, Pattern and Project Work, Fibre Optic Communication, DSP Lab, Satellite Communication Lab, Mobile Communication, Microwave measurements, Adaptive Signal Processing, Project Work, Multimedia Compression Techniques Lab, Seminar, Coding Techniques, Communications Lab, VLSI signal processing, and Electromagnet in sound system design.
