About Us
The benign Devasthanam of Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Thirukkoil, Palani started two Polytechnics for Women and Men in 1981 and 1982 respectively to educate the rural, industrially backward population of Palani and to equip then with technical skills. The two institutions were amalgamated from the academic year 2003-04 under the name of Arulmigu Palaniandavar Polytechnic College, Palani. Located beneath the Holy Hills of Palani, the institution is on the Dindigul main road, NH9, just 1 km from the Palani bus stand and 1.5 km from the railway station. The polytechnic college managed by Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Thirukkoil Devasthanam, functions under HR & CE as a Quasi-Government Institution. It is the only aided institution in dindigul district, approved by AICTE. The institution boasts 26 successful batches of student who are well placed in various Government/Semi-Government, Public sectors and private organizations. Many of our students have also become self-employed and are successful entreprenuers. Our institutions imparts NSS training to 300 students nearby villages every year. Not only the educated but also the schooled drop-outs, housewives, under educated and the socially disabled populace of Palani are benefitted by the various need-based short-term schemes offered by CPS and CIICP..
