Course
B.Sc Dialysis Technology is an undergraduate programme offered by Aster CMI Hospital Institute of Allied Health Sciences Hebbal. B.Sc Dialysis Technology is a three-year undergraduate course. Students should have passed 10+2 in science stream to be eligible for this course. The curriculum provides training to students to be strong paramedical support to doctors in taking care of kidney failure patients. The course teaches them to set up, sterilize, operate, monitor and maintain dialysis machine and also to provide better care to renal patients. They should check patients vitals, calculate the blood flow, communicate effectively and provide mental support to renal patients. They are also taught human anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology and renal diseases apart from it. After the course completion, students can work in hospitals, clinics and other health care institutes offering dialysis treatment. They can also work for medical equipment manufacturing & marketing companies.
Duration : 3 Years + 1 Year Internship
Eligibility : The candidates must have pass Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board
