About Us
The Azeezia Medical college is the first venture of Podikunju Musaliar Memorial Charitable & educational Trust established in 2008 and chaired by Shri.Abdul Azeez. The annual intake of students in the institution is 100 for UG course and 15 students for PG program. The college is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences and is recognized by the Medical Council of IndiaThe faculty of the college consists of experienced and highly qualified teachers in various specialties. As a Post Graduate institution, the college excels in carrying out numerous research activities. To encourage research activities in the institution and to impose quality and standards to the research work done, the college has a Scientific Committee, with its members as eminent people from various fields. In order to review the ethical issues which might arise in research proposals in the health and biomedical fields, an Ethical Committee has been functioning in the college. To improve the understanding between students, their parents and the various departments and the college, an Academic Cell has been serving to mediate between them. The college has an anti-ragging policy in accordance with the ACT No. 10 of 1998 passed by the Kerala Government in the Legislative Assembly that prohibits ragging within or outside the institution and makes ragging punishable under Law.
