This PG Program at BITM will equip the students with thorough knowledge of usage and the limitations of electronic components & systems.A Master's Degree in Power Electronics gives a strong foundation for a career in electrical engineering, communications, control systems, robotics or sensor system. The course offers diverse range of theoretical skills and practical training experience. This PG Program is equipped with MATLAB Software and AUTOCAD software for the design and study of power electronics systems. Student carry out internship in JSW Steels Ltd, Power Corporations Company both in Private and Government.
Duration : 2 Years
Eligibility : Students who have passed BE in EEE/ ECE/ Electronics in Instrumentation Engg., / Instrumentation Technology / Electronics & Telecommunication / Bio-Medical Engg., / Medical Electronics / TCE or equivalent degree, AMIE in appropriate branch with an aggregate 50% & For SC/ST & other backward classes of Karnataka students only, the minimum marks is 45%, GATE in ECE/IT/EEE or PGCET compulsory.
