Department of civil engineering came into existence in the year 2010, every year we intake 120 students for the college in this sector. Department was Headed by Prof. B. M. Ramalinga Reddy having more than 30 years of teaching experience in reputed colleges, with a total of 155 students and 11 faculty members.
B.E. Civil Engineering is an undergraduate engineering course.Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways.
Civil engineering is the broadest of the engineering fields. Civil engineering focuses on the infrastructure of the world which include Water works, Sewers, Dams, Power Plants, Transmission Towers/Lines, Railroads, Highways, Bridges, Tunnels, Irrigation Canals, River Navigation, Shipping Canals, Traffic Control, Mass Transit, Airport Runways, Terminals, Industrial Plant Buildings, Skyscrapers, etc. Among the important subdivisions of the field are construction engineering, irrigation engineering, transportation engineering, soils and foundation engineering, geodetic engineering, hydraulic engineering, and coastal and ocean engineering.

Eligibility
Candidates have to pass their 10+2 examinations or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. with 55% of marks to be eligible for this course.
