Course
M. Sc. Life Sciences or Master of Science in Life Sciences is a postgraduate degree program offered by various universities and colleges around the country. The course gives a deep study of the various life process in plants, animals and human beings along with microorganisms like fungi, algae and virus. It is a study of the living beings at all levels starting from the molecular and cellular levels to the major life processes life respiration, digestion, reproduction etc.
In the recent years, scientists and researchers have taken up the study of microorganisms and organisms very deeply and has made the field of life sciences a very promising career option. The master degree course in life sciences provides better opportunities to the students in order to learn the concepts related to life processes in all beings.
One of the major contribution of life sciences in the field of medicine and health is the study of the cancer cells and tumor cells and their behavior in the physical bodies. This study and the research in this field has helped doctors to come up with cancer treatments by noting their behavioral patterns.
