B.A Sanskrit is an undergraduate program that lengthens within three years and is divided into six semesters is offered Bankura Zilla Saradamani Mahila Mahavidyapith Bankura. The course enhances as a language course and is accompanied by Sanskrit Prose, Poetry, Grammar along with certain sections of Bhagavad-Gita and Mahabharata. The course also teaches the students to analyze the Sanskrit text and literature. Bankura Zilla Saradamani Mahila Mahavidyapith is affiliated with the Bankura University Bankura. The Bankura University shall contain a syllabus with subjects such as Classical Sanskrit Literature (Poetry), Classical Sanskrit Literature (Prose), Critical Survey of Sanskrit Literature, Self-Management in the Gita, Classical Sanskrit Literature (Drama), Indian Epigraphy, Palaeography, Chronology, Poetics and Literary Criticism, Modern Sanskrit Literature, Indian Social Institution, and Polity Sanskrit and World Literature, Vedic Literature, Indian Ontology and Epistemology Sanskrit Grammar, Sanskrit Composition, and Communication. Candidates after studying this course can work on different job positions as a school teacher, translator, language teacher, content writer, literary critic, copy editor, etc.
