Course
BE in Computer Science & Engineering is an undergraduate program. Computer science and engineering are now cornerstones of the information society. This course is designed to enable learners for industry, academia, and public service, providing technical leadership by solving significant problems across a broad spectrum. The course is cross-disciplinary, allowing students to learn the language specificities of computer science, explore programming or modelling and design, and all of the other core aspects of the subject, whilst being also trained in industrial ethics and engaging in industry-inspired lab sessions.
The Departments of Computer Science & Engineering is established in the year 2005. The Department has well qualified, experienced faculty members. It has well equipped laboratories with all the necessary software to carry laboratory work and project work. 50 Mbps leased line connectivity with Wi-Fi is available for internet usage. The Department of CSE has an intake of 90 for UG, 18 for PG in CSE & Data Analytics. The CSE Department also offers a PhD program through VTU approved Research Center & through ACU also. Many faculty members of the department have registered for PhD. The faculty members and students have published/presented their research papers in several reputed International Journals, International Conferences and National Conferences held at different places. The students have participated in various Hackathons and technical events conducted at various places and won many prizes. Many students of the department have got placed in various organizations like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, Empowersys, Justdial, Mindtree, Mphasis, NTT Data, Qspiders, TCS, Tayana Software, Aricent.

Eligibility
- Pass in PUC / 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics / Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together, of any Board recognized by the respective State Governments / Central Government / Union Territories or any other qualification recognized as equivalent there to.
