Course
MD General Medicine course focuses on imparting theoretical and practical knowledge of advancement in the technology of diagnosing and treating diseases. They are also taught diagnostic investigation procedures, counseling of patients, monitoring patients, and handling of medical equipment.
Duration: 2 years
Eligibility: As a minimum criterion of eligibility, aspiring candidates need to have completed MBBS/BAMS with a minimum aggregate score of 50%, with 1-year compulsory internship. Also, a minimum aggregate score of 60% at the level of graduation.
Admission Process
The process of admission to MD General Medicine course may vary across institutes. Some institutes conduct their own entrance exams for admission, while some select students on the basis of their score at the level of graduation, completed from a recognized college/university.
