Course
M.Tech. Thermal Engineering is a postgraduate course.Thermal Engineering is a postgraduate course involving- on an advanced level- concepts of energy efficiency, renewable energy & environmental preservation, and their entwinement with classical energy technologies and recently discovered technologies.The course focuses on the main lines of Thermal and Energetic Engineering: energy efficiency, renewable energy and environmental preservation by means of the knowledge of classical energy technologies together with recent technologies in renewable energy, as well as energy efficiency and energy saving policies and means, environmental legislation and energy economy. An ideal cooling design achieves the desired junction temperatures, is compact in size, low in cost, adaptable enough to fit into system designs.
Eligibility
- A candidate with valid GATE score or PGCET of Karnataka
- A candidate who has passed qualifying examination (i.e., BE/B. Tech Degree) in the relevant discipline and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% of marks (for General Merir Candidates) taken together in all the subjects of all the years / semesters of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to ME / M. Tech programs. ( 45% of marks in qualifying examination in case of SC, ST and Cat-I candidates. (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidate)
