Course
Electronics & Communication Engineering will contribute to the ever changing industrial requirements, economic growth and global societal needs by enhancing the technical skills and entrepreneurship abilities.It aims at producing qualified Engineers in the area of Electronics. Seminars and workshopes are regularly organised to update students with latest industry trends from reputed Organizations
The E & C Department is headed by Prof Sujani G with an academic experience of 15 years. The students and the faculty members of E & C department are very much encouraged to attend Workshops, Seminars and Conference. They are also active in conducting Research & publication of Papers in NATIONAL/ INTERNATIONAL conference proceedings/Journals. The Department emphasizes on importance of practical training with industrial visit to various companies like Infosys, Bharath Electronics Limited, NAL, HAL, LRDE, ISRO, BSNL, POWER GRID etc. The department is aiming at bringing out various technical consciousnesses towards the student community & realizing the institution’s mission to excel as good citizens. We identify the weaker sections and motivate them to achieve higher academic levels by conducting tutorials and additional coaching classes.
Duration: 4 years
Eligibility
- Pass in 10+2/Higher secondary(HS)/Pre-university(PUC)/’A’ Level (with 12 years of schooling) or its equivalent with English as one of the language,shall have secured a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in physics,mathematics and any one of the following i.e Chemistry,Biology,Bio-technology,Computer science,Electronics,Information science.
- The candidates who belongs to Karnataka schedule caste,schedule tribe and other backward categories i.e 2A,2B,3A & 3B,the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examinations.
