B.E. Civil Engineering is an undergraduate engineering course.Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways.
Civil engineering is the broadest of the engineering fields. Civil engineering focuses on the infrastructure of the world which include Water works, Sewers, Dams, Power Plants, Transmission Towers/Lines, Railroads, Highways, Bridges, Tunnels, Irrigation Canals, River Navigation, Shipping Canals, Traffic Control, Mass Transit, Airport Runways, Terminals, Industrial Plant Buildings, Skyscrapers, etc. Among the important subdivisions of the field are construction engineering, irrigation engineering, transportation engineering, soils and foundation engineering, geodetic engineering, hydraulic engineering, and coastal and ocean engineering.
Civil Engineering has been started up in the year 2014. It has a select band of faculty comprising of one Ph.D, two pursuing Ph.D’s & five M.Tech’s, all from pioneer institutes like NIE, VTU Belgaum, Bangalore and Mangalore University. Most of our faculties are an amalgam of rich administrative, academic, research and industry experience.

Eligibility
- Candidate should have passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the Languages and obtained a Minimum of 45 % of Marks in aggregate in Physics and mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer.
- * 40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates.
