Course
Master of Arts (M.A) in Kannada is a PG Programme. Master of Arts (M.A) in Kannada course offered by Central University of Kerala Kasaragod. Master of Arts in Kannada course prepares the perfect base for students to seek further studies in the subject such as M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Kannada which are heavily research based. It provides students with information and knowledge base required to pursue both academic and professional careers in the field. They gain an in-depth knowledge of the history of the language. Poetry, prose, fiction, non fiction, drama, essays, literary criticism, etc of various different laureates of Kannada literature will be included in the curriculum to provide the students with enough knowledge to write their own thesis papers and assignments.

Eligibility :
- Bachelor’s Degree (studied in 10+2+3 system) in any discipline from a recognized University with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate and having studied Kannada as an optional subject/ Language at undergraduate level and having secured a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade. Up to 5% relaxation in minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates. The candidates should not have completed 25 years of age as on 01.07.2020.
