Master of Science (M.Sc.) Bio Chemistry is a postgraduate program. Master of Science (M.Sc.) Bio Chemistry offered by Central University of Kerala Kasaragod . Biochemistry is a branch which is concerned with the chemistry of the biological processes. The study of biochemistry deals with the chemical combinations and reactions which take place in biological processes such as growth, metabolism, reproduction, heredity etc. The objective of the Master’s Programme in Biochemistry is to prepare students for future careers in the various fields in which a core understanding of the chemistry of biological processes is important. The Biochemistry Programme will benefit the society on the whole by adding to the highly skilled scientific workforce, particularly for the biomedical research sectors, in the academic, industry as well as for research laboratories across the country and the globe.
Duration: 2 Years
Eligibility:
- B.Sc. with Chemistry/Biochemistry/any subject under Life Sciences with Chemistry/Biochemistry as a Major/Core/ Equal Optional subject (studied in 10+2+3 system) with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate and also in the concerned subject seperately, from a recognized University. Up to 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.The candidates should not have completed 25 years of age as on 01.07.2020.
