The Chinmaya Mission founded by H.H. Swami Chinmayananda in 1951, is the nucleus of a mighty global movement of spiritual renaissance encompassing a wide range of spiritual educational and charitable activities. Chinmaya Mission , presently headed by H.H. Swami Swaroopananda, has 243 centers in India and around the world. Chinmaya Mission offers education with a difference through Chinmaya Vision Program, which integrates the best in our culture and philosophy with academic excellence. Chinmaya Arts and Science College for Women started functioning from September 3rd 2003. The college presently offers Degree courses BBA, BCA, B.Sc Biotechnology, B.Com with Computer Application and PG courses M.Sc Biotechnology, M.Com and MA English . The college has a highly qualified team of faculty members under the able guidance of the Principal. The students are engaged in Hobby activities like Yoga,, Classical Music, Cookery, Creative Arts, Karate, Instrumental Music, Stitching and Embroidery.
