About Us
Chinmaya College of Arts, Commerce and Science, was founded in 1995 inspired by the ideals of the great visionary and sage, Swami Chinmayananda. Guided by his vision, the Chinmaya Mission came into existence in 1953, as the nucleus of a spiritual renaissance movement, which now encompasses a wide range of spiritual, educational, and charitable activities. Presently headed by His Holiness Swami Swaroopananda, the Mission is governed by the Central Chinmaya Mission Trust (CCMT) in Mumbai, India. Chinmaya College of Arts, Commerce and Science is run under the auspices of Chinmaya Mission, which manages more than a hundred schools and colleges across India and an international school at Coimbatore. All these institutions draw sustenance from the lofty vision espoused by Swami Chinmayananda.We, at Chinmaya College of Arts, Commerce and Science, strive to create a world of knowledge-rich, wise, compassionate individuals capable of making themselves as well as others happy.
