B.A. Sanskrit or Bachelor of Arts in Sanskrit is an undergraduate programme. Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Sanskrit Course offered by Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth Kochi. BA (Sanskrit) programme is designed to develop a first level yet a comprehensive understanding of the Sanskrit Language and the grammatical aspects pertaining to the language and also the important philosophical schools of thought in India. The programme is designed to give a detailed introduction to various disciplines of Sanskrit and places special emphasis on three streams viz., Vyākaraṇa, Vedānta and Sāhitya.The students, in addition to opting for higher studies, will be able to take up roles as Teachers, Research Scholars, IAS/ IPS, work in Business/ Government Service or as Cultural Ambassadors in Government or Corporate sectors.
