Course
The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 2003. Since then the department functions with all state-of-the art facilities. The labs were modernized in the year 2014 with the fund obtained from AICTE under the Modernization and Removal of Obsolescence scheme. The maximum number of permanent faculty members help the department to under take research and inventions.
Electronic engineering is an electrical engineering discipline which utilizes nonlinear and active electrical components to design electronic circuits, devices, integrated circuits and their systems. The discipline typically also designs passive electrical components, usually based on printed circuit boards.
Eligibility
Candidates who have passed in 10+2 Examination are eligible with 45% marks in aggregate with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology, are eligible. For admission in B.Tech Program, candidates need to appear and secure a minimum marks in an entrance test titled Common Entrance Examination (CEE) conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Kerala. Eligibility for admission is as specified in the CEE.
