M.Tech Power Electronics
Course
The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has started this M.Tech program on 2015 with an annual intake of 24 students.M.E. Power Electronics and Drives is the application of solid-state electronics to the control and conversion of electric power. In modern systems, the conversion is performed with semiconductor switching devices such as diodes, thyristors, and power transistors such as the power MOSFET and IGBT.
This course combines conventional technologies with state-of-the-art technologies such as

Eligibility
Candidates who have passed in B.E. Degree in appropriate branch with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate.
