An Aerospace Engineer designs, tests, constructs and maintains aircraft and spacecrafts. Aerospace Engineering is divided into two branches - Aeronautical Engineering specializes in aircraft, missiles, helicopters; basically everything that flies within the limits of Earth's atmosphere while Astronautical Engineering includes satellites, rockets, space stations, space shuttles and spacecrafts that fly beyond Earth's atmosphere.
One of the most challenging areas of engineering, Aerospace Engineering deals with the development of new technology in the field of aviation, space and defense systems. Aerospace Engineering involves design and manufacturing of hi-tech systems.
This discipline specializes in designing, construction, development, testing and maintenance of commercial and military aircraft and spacecrafts. Aerospace Engineering is categorized into two branches – Aeronautical Engineering and Astronautical Engineering.
Duration : 4 Years
Eligibility
Pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics / Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category)
