Ph.D. Pharmacology or Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology is Doctorate Pharmacy course.Pharmacology is a science that examines the effects of the drug on the body, looking at such issues as how the drug works,its safety, whether it affects one organ or area of the body more than other, and what common adverse experience (AEs) are associated with its use.It is subjective in nature and undertakes the research work in depth.The candidates must submit "thesis" after the completion of their research work.Pharmacology states it is the branch of medicine and biology concerned with the study of drug action. More clearly,it is the study of interactions that occur between a living organism and chemicals that effect normal or abnormal biochemical function.

Eligibility
A candidate with M. Phil Degree of this University or any other University recognized as equivalent there to in the concerned or cognate subject shall also be eligible for admission to the Ph. D Degree course
