Course
B.Sc Dialysis Technology is a three-year undergraduate degree course offered by Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital Perambalur . The applicant should have passed plus two with biology, physics, chemistry as subjects. The course train students to support doctors and nurses in providing quality care to renal patients. They are trained in setting up, sterilizing, operating, monitoring and adequately maintaining the dialysis machine. They should guide, support and carefully monitor the patients waiting for a kidney transplant. Apart from technical subjects, they are taught human anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology and kidney diseases. Completed students can pursue their career in super speciality hospitals, clinics and other health care institutes which provide dialysis and other renal treatments. They can also follow their calling in dialysis equipment manufacturing, maintaining or marketing companies.

Candidates should pass Higher Secondary (10+2) with PCB from any recognized board or equivalent
