Botany offered by Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University (AHUU) KurnoolThe Department of Botany was established in 2018 with the launching of five year integrated Bsc, Msc program in Botany There are 10 semesters The students have an exit option after three years The syllabus has been framed as per UGC guidelines and APSCHE under CBCS scheme keeping in view the market orientation as well as the National standards in the syllabus there are core courses, generic elective courses and ability enhancement courses The course is about the scientific study of the plants, fungi and algae. This scientific study includes studying the various aspects of plants including the structure, growth, reproduction, metabolism, diseases, chemical properties, physiology of the plants and plant anatomy in general. Botanists study plants to try to understand how these processes work. Their research is involved in enhancing crops, developing medicines, cleaning up contaminated sites, and even powering our cars.
Duration : 5 years
Eligibility
Candidates must have scored at least 60% average (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English) in Class XII and X.
