Integrated M.Sc. Zoology offered by Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University (AHUU) Kurnool. Integrated Master of Science in Zoology was established in 2018 with the launching of five year Integrated BSc-MSc programme in Zoology. In all there are 10 semesters. The students have an exit option after three years (6 semester). The syllabus has been framed as per the UGC and APACHE guidelines under CBCS scheme keeping in view the market orientation as well as the national standards. In the syllabus there are core courses, generic elective courses and ability enhancement courses. The department has highly qualified experienced and dedicated faculty with more than 25 years teaching and 18 years research experience. The department of Zoology imbibes and inculcates the students with basic fundamentals of applied courses related to the subject such as Aquaculture, Apiculture, Sericulture and Vermiculture. Department offers pivotal areas such as Molecular Biology, Immunology, Environmental Biology, Animal Biotechnology, Neurobiology, Genetic engineering and Cancer Biology. It is well-structured with theory-based papers along with practical sessions to provide a hands-on experience to the students and help them comprehend scientific concepts easily. Zoologists study the physiology of animals, their behavior, and how they interact with other species and their environments. Their knowledge is critical to preserving important habitats and managing wildlife's adaptations to climate change.
Eligibility:
- Candidates must have scored at least 60% average (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English) in Class XII and X.
