Course:
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Dialysis Technology is an UG Programme offered by Dr. Jeyasekharan Medical Trust Nagercoil. B.Sc Dialysis Technology is a three-year undergraduate course. The course teaches them to set up, sterilize, operate, monitor and maintain dialysis machine and also to provide better care to renal patients. They should check patients vitals, calculate the blood flow, communicate effectively and provide mental support to renal patients. They are also taught human anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology and renal diseases apart from it. After the course completion, Dr. Jeyasekharan Medical Trust Nagercoil students can work in hospitals, clinics and other health care institutes offering dialysis treatment. They can also work for medical equipment manufacturing & marketing companies.
