Architecture is both process and product of planning, designing and constructing space that reflects functional, social and aesthetic considerations. It requires the manipulation and coordination of material, technology, light and shadow. Architecture also encompasses the pragmatic aspects of realizing designed spaces, such as project plan, cost estimation and construction administration.A wider definition may comprise of all design activities from the macro to micro level. The practice of architecture emphasizes spatial relationships, orientation and the support of activities to be carried out within designed environment and the arrangement and the visual rhythm of structural elements. B.Arch is a five year Architecture & Planning course recognized by Council of Architects (COA), New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
