About Us
Bharathi Education Trust, Bharathinagara, Maddur Taluk, Mandya Dist., Karnataka, was founded in 1962 by Dr. G. Madegowda the honorable ex member of parliament and former minister, Govt. of Karnataka. It is aimed to fulfilling all the educational, cultural, social and other aspirations of the people in and around Bharathingara, which as then small hamlet of no significance. B.E.T. was started with the purpose of providing quality education in rural area at an affordable cost. The goals and objectives of Bharathi Education Trust are three fold. Education in rural area providing safe health care facilities and providing food for the needy and the deserving. The Trust has grown over the years into a hosts of institutions starting from the Pre - primary schools to post graduate courses. B.E.T. wish our students would realize the importance of learning in a rural ambience and imbibe the lofty goals of education. Dr. G. Madegowda is the Founder Chairman of the trust and his sincere, unrelenting efforts have led to the Kirugavalu under the auspices of B.E.T. The founder secretary of the Trust Sri Annur S. Siddegowda was also instrumental in setting up several institutions run by the Trust. The B.E.T. is now managed by trustees.
