This Course Is Offered By The Regulating Authority Of Garden City Group Of Institutions And Follows The Guidelines As Opined By UGC.
This programme is designed for the emerging music producer and audio enthusiasts who wish to enhance their knowledge and production skills and to gain a better understanding of industry requirements. Providing the student with extended practical real world experiences and theoretical concepts to start developing advanced skill required in the professional audio production work, this course is designed to equip the student with the essential knowledge to competently record, produce, arrange, and mix. Industry standard DAWs such as Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase and Reason are also taught. This programme is taught using hands-on workshops and individual practical time. The programme also has the objective of teaching the practical use of music technology, with MIDI programming, digital samplers and digital synthesizers as well as hard disc based recording within the creative stream of music production
Duration : 3 Years
Eligibility :
- Pass in 10+2 / Equivalent with minimum of five subjects.
- Wherever grading system or any other system is followed for evaluating the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination, the applicant should ensure that a certificate indicating the percentage obtained has to be submitted through the University / Board last studied. Applicants passing GCE / O / A level examination should have passed 4 + 3 or 5 + 2 subjects at the O & A level respectively.
- The examination approved by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) only will be considered by the Garden City University, others who have passed the examination which is not in the AIU approved list shall obtain equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities.
