Course
The Master of Commerce (M.Com) programme is a two year or four semesters intensive post graduate programme offered by the School of Commerce and Management. This programme is a practical oriented one that enables graduates to study units across a range of various disciplinary areas. This programme provides an opportunity to acquire an interdisciplinary understanding of business with a concentration in at least one major area of business activity. With the help of various instruction methods like case studies, multimedia presentations and interactive tutorial sessions, our students acquire better understanding of the subject matter. Students of M.Com have made their careers in the areas of Analytics, Financial Management, Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Audit and Corporate Governance, Teaching, to name a few. This programme is also intended to develop teaching and research skills among students to create academic expertise suiting to contemporary needs of society. The programme focuses on advanced study of business, accounting, policies, laws and financial management of business.
Duration : 2 Years
Eligibility : For applying M.Com includes graduation in Commerce with a minimum of 50% marks. Students who have passed B.B.S., B.B.A., B.F.I.A., and B.B.E. with at least 60% marks can also apply. Certain universities also admit students with a B.A. Economics (Hons.) degree.
