Course
Master of Science is a multi-faceted profession in which creative and technical solutions are applied within a structure to achieve advanced research and industry managerial environment. The program follows a systematic and coordinated methodology, including research, analysis and integration of knowledge into the creative process, whereby the needs and resources of the client are satisfied to fulfill the project goals. Training through an institution such as a college, art or design school or university is a more formal route to professional practice.
The program is being offered in other Universities in India and across the globe. Most of the post graduate programs in the State are training the students coming from apparel and fashion fields. Other post graduate program floated by some of the Universities is focused on Fashion Management Programs for all the graduates. Keeping these things in mind, it was decided to float this program to all the graduates in fashion and apparel design stream.
Duration : 2 years
Eligibility : Bachelor’s degree in the stream
Career Opportunities
Fashion designers specialize in clothing or accessory design; others create designs in all three fashion categories. For some fashion designers, their first step in creating a new design is researching current fashion and making predictions about future trends using trend reports published by fashion industry trade groups
