GOJAN COLLEGE OF TEACHER EDUCATION has started functioning in the academic year 2008-09. It offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,) one year programme in the branches of Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physical sciences, Biological Sciences, History, Geography, Economics, Commerce, Social Sciences(Psychology & Socialogy) and Computer Science. It also offers Master of Education (M.Ed.,) one year programme from the academic year 2010-2011. The college is Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi and Affiliated to the TamilNadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. The college is well located in the 80 feet road of Edapalayam(Alamathi), RedHills, Chennai-52 and is well connected through roads and public transport systems. College buses provide easy transportation to the students and the staff across the Chennai city and nearby suburban areas. College Mess provides hygienic Vegetarian food at a very reasonable cost.
