About Us
Govt.Arts and Science College Mankada was established in the year 2013-14 in conjunction with the state Cabinet’s decision to start government colleges in all Legislative Assembly Constituencies without a college in the public sector and the foundation stone for new college was laid by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri Oommen Chandy on 13th September 2014. Since its Inception in a humble temporary building at Kolathur , the college has been offering 7 UG programs in Psychology. English, Economics Commerce and Management and Mathematics and MSc Psychology . The college has been consistently making significant strides in the academics with the higher pass percentage in university examinations and many students having pursued higher studies across India. The college offers various platforms for developing curricular and extracurricular skills and talents of the students that include the National Service Scheme, Walk With a Scholar, Entrepreneurship Development Cell etc.
