Course
MD Anesthesia is a post-graduate program of Medicine offered at Government Chengalpattu Medical College Chengalpattu. It is the branch of medicine dealing with minimizing pain and administering anaesthesia during surgery and other medical procedures. The students administer anaesthesia medicine and closely monitor the patient. Government Chengalpattu Medical College is affiliated to Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai. Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University syllabus covers theory & practical in ambulatory anaesthesia, cardiothoracic anesthesiology, pediatric anesthesiology, neuro anaesthesia, obstetrical anesthesiology and pain management. After graduation, the students can work in the anaesthesia department of different hospitals, clinics or teach in medical colleges or universities.
