Course
MD Anesthesia is a post-graduate program of Medicine offered at Government Dharmapuri Medical College Dharmapuri. It is the branch of medicine dealing with minimizing pain and administering anaesthesia during surgery and other medical procedures. The students administer anaesthesia medicine and closely monitor the patient. Government Dharmapuri Medical College is affiliated to Tamilnadu D. MGR Medical University,Chennai. Tamilnadu D. MGR Medical University syllabus covers theory & practical in ambulatory anaesthesia, cardiothoracic anesthesiology, pediatric anesthesiology, neuro anaesthesia, obstetrical anesthesiology and pain management. After graduation, the students can work in the anaesthesia department of different hospitals, clinics or teach in medical colleges or universities.
