About Principal
Dr. Virupaxi Bagodi took charge as Principal, Government Engineering College, Talakal on 25th January 2018. He has 28 years of teaching experience and 12 years of research experience. He obtained B.E. from Karnataka Regional Engineering College, Surathkal (NITK) in 1988, M.E. from Karnataka University in 1991, and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur in 2006. He an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmadabad. As an active researcher, has published 18 papers in international journal of repute and is a reviewer for many of the international journals. He has guided 4 PhDs and currently guiding 6 PhDs. He has been delivering invited lectures at IIT Roorkee and MNIT Jaipur regularly. He has worked on the board of studies and board of examiners.
