Government Polytechnic College, Neyyattinkara was established in the year 1991, under the World Bank Assisted Technician Education Project. This is one among the pioneer Institutions in the state of Kerala, imparting three year Diploma courses in various Engineering as well as non-Engineering disciplines such as Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering and Computer Application and Business Management. Since its origin, this college has been working with its mission of developing and promoting quality technical education in the area of its establishment. As sustainable development and attainment of higher growth rates are the endeavours of any society, the aim of higher education should be planned to suffice these requirements.
