Course
Post Diploma in Tool Design is a postgraduate level diploma course.This course is to enable the diploma holders to acquire sufficient knowledge in subjects like Press Tools, Mould Design and other related subjects. Designed to acquire proficiency in the area of Tool Design, especially in the areas of Press Tools for Sheet Metal and Moulds for Plastics. Students learn to understand machine capabilities, limitations, concepts of tool design, calculations and relevant design and simulation software.
Eligibility
Candidates must have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering(DME)/ Diploma in Tool, Die & Mould Making DTDM/Diploma in Production Engineering DPE or equivalent.
