Course
Ph.D. Physical education is an interdisciplinary program which includes study of physical activities, social sciences and human physiology. This course curriculum has both theoretical and practical components. In this study focuses on advanced education techniques in addition to advanced science classes. For example: Nutrition, Advanced pedagogy, Educational planning, anatomy and physiology.This course is based on the physical activities undertaking a supportive, active, non-threatening field to the students to be successful. The aim is to provide students with a variety of activities and challenges, which will contribute to maintain their physical, effective and cognitive well-being. This program provides students to participate in a program consisting of games, skill development, sports and fitness activities.The students get information of rules that they should be followed in different sports. They also get experience in physical conditioning activities. They have choice to became a life time physical educator through individual sports units. This course utilizes a wide range of activity strategies to meet their competitive needs to practicing in the program.
Duration : 3 Years
Eligibility
Students should obtain Master’s degree or Master of Philosophy in physical education is eligible for Ph.D. in Physical Education course. Candidates should secure above 55% marks
