Course
M.Phil. Biotechnology course, students learn introduction to biotechnology and understand the roles plays in agriculture, animal, and human genetics. This course explores methods for manipulating genetics to reduce genetic problems, produce vaccines that affect living organisms.Students learn how to examine common ethical, political, and legal issues in this biotechnological field and as well as current developments in this field. This course also helps them to examine issues regarding animals, humans, plants, and genetics including human beings how to react changes in an environment. This course covers how to conquer diseases through gene research, drugs, new vaccines, new therapies and development of the immune systems.Students study laboratory work in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, and biotechnology. In this course, students read case studies and the research articles pertaining to diseases, drugs and genetics. This course touches on practical applications on molecular genetics, genome analysis, and bacterial viruses so that students get knowledge on this field and develop their skills applied to a variety of real world problems.

Eligibility
Students should have either graduate degree in biotechnology or in any other subjects related to biological sciences. Master’s degree in subjects such as biology, biochemistry, botany, microbiology, chemistry, veterinary sciences, pharmacy, or zoology with above 55% of marks
