Course
BE in Computer Science & Engineering is an undergraduate program. Computer science and engineering are now cornerstones of the information society. This course is designed to enable learners for industry, academia, and public service, providing technical leadership by solving significant problems across a broad spectrum. The course is cross-disciplinary, allowing students to learn the language specificities of computer science, explore programming or modelling and design, and all of the other core aspects of the subject, whilst being also trained in industrial ethics and engaging in industry-inspired lab sessions
In today’s world where computers play a lead role, students need to benefit from a thorough understanding of their capabilities. Established in 1985-86, today the Department has come a long way. State-of-the-art machines spread over all the Labs and a host of servers and and nodes, comprise the equipment. Highly qualified faculty members who blend theory and practice ensure that students are given the right balance in their curriculum.
The Department also has a well-stocked library with wide range of books, journals, a multimedia projector and internet connectivity. The Students of this Department have performed at national and international events and found gainful employment in top corporations around the world,a testimony to the quality education provided by this Department, which has 120 intake in UG, 18 intake in PG along with R &D centre in computer science and Engineering .

Eligibility
Candidates who have passed in 10+2 Examination are eligible with 45% marks in aggregate with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology, are eligible.
