Course
The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) course is a medicinal bachelors program offered by Hillside Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital Bangalore. The program combines traditional Ayurveda with modern medicine and gives extensive practical training in both fields. A BAMS graduate would be a fully competent physician and surgeon. Hillside Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Bengaluru. Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences syllabus includes practical training and classroom training in Ayurvedic Philosophy, Ayurvedic History, Anatomy, Physiology, Toxicology, General Surgery & Para Surgical Techniques, Panchkarma, one-year internship. The course completed Hillside Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital graduates can practice as Ayurvedacharya, Ayurvedic Doctor, Ayurvedic Practitioner, Public Health Specialist, Lecturer, Researcher in various ayurvedic hospitals, clinics, health resorts, medical colleges and universities.
