Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology is an undergraduate postgraduate program offered by Himalayan University Itanagar. Applied psychology is the application of psychological theory and practices on real life situation on a daily basis. It also aims at developing in students a deeper understanding of the growing discipline of psychological science with an Indian perspective and promoting professional skill-based education.the main goal of this course is to facilitate self-discovery within the students and develop passion and effective participation in responding to the wants and challenges of the times.applied psychology programme provides additional importance to the humanities and subjective areas of the discipline of psychology.Hence, the students can get additional coaching in developing their technical skills in handling social issues.After finishing the programme, the students are going to be equipped with the distinctive skills and experience in broad-based education and can be able to take up their 1st job as a psychologist or it'll facilitate for a better degree within the chosen subject specialisation. The programme provides the students’ exposure to varied domains of applied psychology together with inventive Writing, application of Psychological ideas, counselling, Clinical, Organisational, Social and school psychology, to name a few.The aim and objective of the programme are to organize the students for a career in psychology by impartation theory and professional skills to figure as a psychologist.
