Course
M. Tech in Computing and Information Technology is a vast study where the program features on the components of design, development, implementation, support and management of computer based information systems. M. Tech. Computing and IT is a program which deals with both software and hardware of a computer system, The program is designed for people planning to pursue career in the IT industry. The emerging technologies are researched and updated in the curriculum. The course is a detailed study of theoretical and practical side of computers. The program aims at imparting managerial skills which are vital for surviving in the competitive IT industry. The program gives students a platform to specialize in the fields like Databases and Information Systems, Computer Science, Networking and Communication, embedded systems, IT and Society, Geographic Information Science, Software Engineering etc. During the course of the study, students are designated to industry internships, or writing and defense of research thesis. Students will be taught to install computer applications. They will also b able to design complex computer networks and information databases. In this, students also will be equipped to select software and hardware for a particular task according to the needs.
