B.E. Civil Engineering is an undergraduate engineering course.Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways.
The Department of Civil Engineering with its multifacieted faculty continues to maintain and cultivate strong links with the infra structural industry and academic and research institutions. The academic activities of the Department emphasizes deep understanding of fundamental principles, development of creative ability to handle the challenges of Civil Engineering, and the analytical ability to solve problems which are interdisciplinary in nature.Duration : 4 Years
Eligibility : Passed 10 + 2 Examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer science as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case candidate belongs to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
