Bachelor of Design (B.Des) Industrial Design
The very definition of Industrial Design encompasses the design of any three-dimensional object, spaces etc. which has to go through a manufacturing / industrial production process for its realization for human use.
The students are subjected to learn and apply both traditional & advanced digital techniques to the ideation of a wide range of products and spaces while gaining a knowledge of both materials and production processes
Duration of Study: 4 Years (8 semesters)
Specialization:
1.Product Design
2.Retail & Interior Space Design
Common foundation program until 2nd semester & specialization from 3rd semester onwards.
Eligibility
- Candidates passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Arts, Science, Commerce or any other relevant stream and should have studied English as a mandatory course

Candidates passed 3 year Diploma with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and should have studied English as a mandatory course. - Candidates must have secured a rank in UCEED conducted by IDC of IIT- Bombay

Possess a valid score in JET EXAM conducted by Jain University.
Designers get an array of opportunities including table top products, intelligent / AI and IoT enabled products, machines and machine tools, bio-medical products, health sector products, various transportation products and systems, modular spaces, components and systems thereof, convertible furniture systems, intelligent spaces, creating special purpose spaces, interactive spaces.
As career progression path or prospects, an Industrial Designer can reach up to the level of General Manager (Design), Chief Designer or even Senior Vice President (Design)
