Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Interior Design
B.Sc. Interior Design - Interior design is an idea-led profession, concerned with the relationships between people and the surrounding environment. Students learn that the design of interiors is not confined to the inside of buildings, but addresses spatial and temporal concerns, ranging from the intimacy of a finely crafted object to the urban fabric of a city. Interior design is one of the world’s fastest growing professions.
B.Sc. Interior Design is a program which educate students with concepts of planning, designing, organizing and managing a space according to its function. The course includes detailed study about principles and elements of design. Training of 2D and 3D design softwares is an integral part of B.Sc. Interior Design.

Eligibility
The minimum qualification required to apply is a pass in the 10+2 examination in Arts, Science or Commerce from PUC / ISC / CBSE or equivalent board. A course recognized as equivalent thereto by the University.
Career Opportunities
Good times are ahead for Interior Design students. Graduates can find entry positions as space planners, assistant designers, rendering illustrators, draftsmen, and production coordinators. After gaining professional experience, graduates may eventually go on to advanced positions such as leading designers or project managers. Others may establish their own design firms or take on challenging freelance assignments. Some of the job options include Renovation and remodeling of interiors, Furniture designer, Interior designer accessories, Residential window designer, Design consultant, Commercial or residential interior designer, Setting up an interior designing studio as a small enterprise. Students’ can also pursue post-graduation and expand it with further research.
