Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) Commerce
The M.Phil. Degree shall have the status of an intermediate Degree between the first Post-Graduate Degree and the Doctorate Degree. It will have both research and course components and will give the student adequate background for advanced research
The M.Phil. includes the area of studies such as Accounting, Finance, International Business, Marketing and organization, behaviour and development. This course prepares students to achieve methodological competencies in the selected field.
The course curriculum comprised of classroom teaching, seminars, presentations, research colloquia, case studies, tool training etc. the students would teach knowledge skills such as Planning, Designing, Engaging, and interpreting data for problem-solving questions
Duration : One Year, 2 Semesters
Eligibility
Candidate should hold a Master’s Degree (from a recognized university) in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55% (In the case of SC / ST candidates there will be a relaxation of 5%)Candidates who are qualified for CA or ACS or ICWA with basic degree are also eligible to register for M.Phil. in this category Candidates who have qualified for Master’s Degree prior to 1990 - 1991, with no less than 50% marks are also eligible to register for M.Phil. program
