Course
M.Sc. in Psychology is a postgraduate program in the domain of scientific studies with advanced specialization in the study of the mind, behaviour, and psyche of the human. The program enables the students to demonstrate a broad and coherent knowledge of core topics and skills in the discipline of clinical psychology, their applications, and behaviour in research and professional contexts. Psychology as a domain of application of scientific principles aims at studying behaviour, mind, consciousness, and actions of humans in a wholesome and comprehensive manner. So the program focuses on understanding individuals and groups by establishing general principles and researching specific cases. As an academic discipline, it is seen hybridizing the contours of humanities with that of applied sciences. The students are made aware of all the key principles and concepts of the subjects during the duration of the program.
Duration : 2 Years
Eligibility : The qualification required to apply for the program is a minimum of 50% marks in the respective bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Students who are pursuing final year bachelor’s program are also eligible to apply.
Higher Studies : Ph.D and M.Phil in related subjects
